I came across this wonderful website accidently when I was searching the ways I can get in contact with the people I know, offline as well as online. Since then I am hooked on to Spock and I know it very well... that this is forever.

As the tagline of the site clearly shows that this is a free search engine to find people you already know and also to find information about them. I have just signed up at Spock and have started inviting my friends to join my network here. The very first thing I like about the website is that it is advertising free, besides being extremely fast loading thanks to the Ajax capabilities which makes it so impressive. The user doesn't have to refresh the page every time he or she updates their profile information.

Don't mistake Spock as a social networking website, because it is not one, but it does have some capabilities of it such as it allows messaging amongst the members. Users can create their profiles and also add pictures to them. Thats how it works with profiles.

Now something about the main purpose of the website. As already discussed earlier that Spock is a people and information search engine. People can be searched by names, like you can search me there by simply putting my name, Anoop Bajwa, and tags (tags are simple keywords like the way you search something on Google) which contains some personal information about the user, say for example Drunk Driving. This tag will show you all the people who have been arrested while driving because they were drunk. Isn't that fun as well as being informative at the same very time.
