I am lost in your magic

I think of you each morning
And dream of you each night
I think of your arms being around me
And cannot express my delight

God made many lovely things
Sunset and flowers and trees
Birds and starlight and a loving family
And after he made all these
He gave another gift more rare
More loving and more true
A wonderful person most fair

I had closed the door upon my heart
and wouldn? anyone in
I had trusted and loved only to be hurt
but that would never happen again
I locked the door and
tossed the key as
hard and as far as I could
My heart was closed for good.

Than you came into my life and
made me change my mind
just when I thought that
the key was impossible to find
that was when you held out your hand
and proved me wrong
inside the palm of your hand was the
key to my heart...
you had it all along.
